Built for businesses that live on the phone
An AI voice agent is software that answers and makes phone calls for your business in natural, spoken conversation. It understands what the caller wants, answers from information you have approved, books appointments into your calendar and passes anything it can't handle to a person on your team, with a summary of the call.
Callers don't press buttons or leave voicemails. They say what they need, and the agent responds the way a well-trained receptionist would. The difference with OMH is that we set it up and run it for you: we write the script around your real calls, connect your diary and systems, and keep improving it.
Watch the phone. Each step lights up as the call reaches it.
Try it: pick a business and a tone, then listen in
Consultation booked: Mon 11:00
Summary sent to the property team: new enquiry, tenancy dispute
What's included
Everything a good front desk does on the phone, without adding to the payroll. Pick a capability to see it in action and how OMH runs it for you. Features marked Growth and Scale aren't on the Starter plan.
The agent
Every call answered straight away, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. It handles many calls at once, so nobody hears an engaged tone.
OMH, for you
We forward your number, set your opening hours and agree the rules for what it picks up and when. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.
The agent
Your business name, your greeting and a British voice that suits your callers. Callers can interrupt, change their mind or ask for a person, and OMH is never mentioned on a call.
OMH, for you
We write the script around the real reasons people ring you, then you make test calls and adjust it with us until it sounds like your business.
The agent
It answers only from information you approve: services, prices, opening hours, service areas and FAQs. If a question falls outside that, it says so and takes a message.
OMH, for you
We load that information for you, and on Growth and Scale we read a sample of transcripts every month, see what it couldn't answer and add the answers worth adding.
The agent
It checks your live calendar, respects buffers, travel time and blocked hours, and texts the caller a confirmation.
OMH, for you
We connect your calendar, plus your CRM or practice system on Growth and Scale, and tell you on the discovery call what connects directly and what needs a workaround.
The agent
The caller is put through to the right person with a quick briefing first, so they never have to repeat themselves. Outside your hours it takes a detailed message instead.
OMH, for you
You choose who gets put through and when: emergencies, existing clients, complaints, anyone who asks for a person. We set those rules and test them with you.
The agent
Form fills and ad leads get a call within 60 seconds, while they're still on your website. It also calls people who have agreed to hear from you about quotes, reminders and missed appointments.
OMH, for you
Every call is summarised and emailed to you; on Growth and Scale the details go into your CRM, and on Scale calls answered, bookings made and transfers are reported beside your Google Ads and website figures.
Anyone can sign up for a voice AI tool. Whether it works for your business depends on the script, the testing and someone checking the calls every month. That's the part we do.
01
We start from the real reasons people ring you: the boiler fault, the viewing request, the cancelled appointment. The script, questions and handover rules follow from those.
02
You make test calls and sign off the agent before it goes live. After that you deal with our UK team, not a ticket queue, and Scale clients get a named account manager.
03Growth and Scale
Every month we read a sample of transcripts, look at what the agent couldn't answer and improve it. You get a short written summary of what we changed and why.
04Scale
Calls answered, bookings made and calls transferred sit in the same report as your Google Ads and website figures, so you can follow an enquiry from click to booked job.
How it works
You forward your number. We link your calendar, plus your CRM on Growth and Scale.

Step 5: Then one of three things happens:
Use cases
We set up AI voice agents for eight types of business that live on the phone. Each agent is scripted around the calls your sector actually gets. Pick yours to see what it handles.
Real Estate & Letting Agents01 / 08
Buyers, sellers and tenants call when they see a board or a listing, often while your team is out on appointments. The agent answers from your live listings and books the viewing.
Dental Clinics02 / 08
New patients ring around until someone answers. Your AI receptionist books check-ups, moves appointments and sends emergencies to the right person, without putting anyone on hold.
No clinical or medical advice given.
Clinics & Healthcare03 / 08
Busy mornings mean engaged tones and lost patients. The agent answers many calls at once, books the right practitioner and sends the details to your team.
No clinical or medical advice given.
Plumbers04 / 08
A burst pipe at 10pm goes to whoever answers first. The agent takes the address and the problem, then gets the job to your on-call engineer straight away.
Heating & HVAC05 / 08
When the first cold snap hits, the phone never stops. The agent books services, repairs and quotes, so your engineers spend the day on jobs instead of on the phone.
Contractors & Builders06 / 08
You can't answer the phone from a roof. The agent asks about the job, budget and timing, then books a site visit with the right estimator.
Law Firms07 / 08
People call a few firms and go with the first one that listens. The agent takes the details, checks the area of law and books a consultation while fee earners are in court or meetings.
No legal advice given.
Car Dealerships08 / 08
Buyers enquire on several forecourts at once. The agent answers stock questions, books test drives and fills the service bay.

Most businesses handle missed calls with voicemail, an answering service, more reception staff or a DIY tool. Here's an honest side-by-side, including where each option wins.

The two terms overlap, and many people use them for the same thing. An AI receptionist usually means an agent that answers inbound calls, takes messages and books appointments. An AI voice agent can do that and more, such as calling new web leads back, following up quotes and routing calls between departments. Our Starter plan works as an AI receptionist, and Growth and Scale add the wider voice agent features.
Our managed AI voice agent starts at £249 a month plus VAT with 300 minutes included, and a one-off setup fee from £795. Growth is £449 a month and Scale is £849 a month. Extra minutes cost 60p each on every plan. DIY tools can cost less, but you build and maintain them yourself.
Yes, when it's set up properly. Calls that involve personal data come under UK GDPR, and outbound calls must follow PECR, including Telephone Preference Service checks where they apply. Our agents tell every caller they're speaking to an AI, say when calls are recorded and only make outbound calls to people who have given consent.
Yes. We set every agent up to say it's an AI assistant at the start of the call. Callers deserve to know, and it avoids awkward moments later in the conversation.
Yes, on the Growth and Scale plans. You set the rules: emergencies, existing clients, complaints and anyone who asks for a person can be put through to the right phone. Outside your opening hours, and on the Starter plan, the agent takes a detailed message and sends it to your team.
It says so. The agent answers only from information you have approved, so when a question falls outside that, it offers to take a message or transfer the call. We review those moments and add the answers worth adding.
The agent needs somewhere to put bookings and call notes, usually your calendar and your CRM or practice system. We check your exact tools during discovery and tell you plainly what connects directly, what needs a workaround and what isn't possible yet.
In most cases you keep your number and divert calls to the agent, either all of them or only the ones your team can't answer. If you want a new local number, such as an 0161 number for Manchester, we can arrange one as part of setup.
Calls can be recorded and transcribed so you can review them, and callers are told at the start of the call. You remain the data controller and OMH acts as your processor under a written agreement. We agree retention periods with you and delete recordings on that schedule.
The agent only calls people who have given appropriate consent, such as customers who asked for a reminder or a call back. We follow the UK PECR rules, screen lists against the Telephone Preference Service where required and act on opt-outs straight away. We don't run cold calling campaigns to bought or non-consented lists.
Yes, for bookings, routing and practical questions such as opening hours, fees and directions. The agent never gives clinical or medical advice. Anything clinical goes to your team, and urgent calls follow the emergency route you set.
Yes, for taking new enquiries, booking consultations and routing existing clients. The agent never gives legal advice and doesn't comment on the merits of a matter. It collects the details and gets the caller to the right person.
Starter goes live in 3 working days, Growth in 5 to 7 and Scale in 12 to 15. The clock starts once we have your content and diary access. If your calls are more complex than usual, we give you a realistic timeline after the discovery call, before you commit to anything.
Plans are billed monthly with 30 days' notice. We set out the terms in writing before you start, including what's included each month and what counts as extra. There are no hidden usage fees, and every invoice shows your included minutes and any overage.
Yes. We're based in Hullbridge, Essex and work with businesses across the UK remotely. London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Bristol are where we focus our voice agent work at the moment.
